The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will be co-hosting two Member Milestone Celebrations in the month of August.
The first will take place on Thursday, August 10 to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Billsboro Winery, located at 4760 West Lake Road in Geneva. The event will take place from 3-5:00 p.m., and will include live music, wine tastings, special discounts for attendees, and will feature a short presentation and photo op by Chamber representatives at 4:00 p.m.
The second, an official Grand Opening Celebration will take place on Friday, August 25 at FLX Live, a newly opened live music hall and lounge, located at 427 Exchange Street in downtown Geneva. The event will take place from 3-4:00 p.m. and will include tours of the new establishment and a meet and greet with venue owners. A brief presentation and photo op will take place by Chamber reps and ambassadors at 4:00 pm.
The Chamber unveiled Member Milestone Celebrations in 2016 as an exclusive program and benefit of membership. The program was designed as a method to provide additional exposure for member businesses by promoting the key components of their individual stories, and generating awareness around their people, property, products and services. Since its inception it has grown in popularity among longstanding members and has aided in new membership growth by attracting new businesses as well. Examples of Milestone Celebrations include Grand Openings, Anniversaries, Re-Openings, or Relocation-based Open Houses.
