Teen employee assaulted ‘multiple times’ at outlet store; manager charged with six counts of rape

Seneca County Sheriff Tim Luce says a 24-year-old Trumansburg resident was arrested on Wednesday following a rape investigation.

Jesse M. Farina-Geiger, 24, of Trumansburg was taken into custody and charged with two counts of first-degree rape, four counts of third-degree rape, and endangering the welfare of a child after he allegedly coerced a female subordinate at a store in Junius into sexual intercourse.

Luce reports that Farina-Geiger was a member of the management team at a store in Junius and had sexual intercourse with a subordinate employee on multiple dates.

According to his Facebook profile, Farina-Geiger was employed as a manager at a store located at the Waterloo Premium Outlet.

The sexual intercourse involved forcible compulsion and occurred inside the store while both were working. The victim in this incident was a 16-year-old female.

Farina-Geiger is being held at the Seneca County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 secured bond and will re-appear in Junius Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

Luce says that the investigation is ongoing, and that additional victims may be involved. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Investigator Felice with the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office at (315) 220-3445.
