Danaren Dental Laboratories, part of BonaDent Inc. in Seneca Falls, wants to build a 7,500-square-foot addition to the BonaDent facility on Routes 5&20, the former Walmart.
Danaren officials also are considering an offer to build the new facility in Florida.
To help them decide to remain local, the board of directors of the Seneca County Industrial Development Agency Thursday will consider an inducement package to offer the company.
“It will include a (Payment In Lieu Of Taxes) agreement, and sales tax and mortgage tax exemptions, which could be rolled into the existing package approved earlier for BonaDent to help them stay and build here, rather than Florida,” said Bob Aronson, IDA executive director.
Representatives of Danaren will be at Thursday’s meeting to explain the project and to ask for the financial assistance.
