The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that a 35-year-old Shortsville man was arrested at Manchester Town Court after having been found to have violated a stay away order of protection.
Mark A. Staples, 35, of Shortsville was charged with second-degree criminal contempt after he violated a stay away order of protection by showing up at an address that was protected via protected party.
Deputies say he then refused to leave the residence.
The charges will be answered in Manchester Town Court.
