The Ithaca Police Department is investigating a report of shots fired on the South Side of Ithaca Monday night.
A Tompkins County 911 dispatcher said police were called around 9 p.m. to the area of West Green and Fayette streets. About an hour later, police had South Plain Street shutdown for a block between West State and West Green streets.
