First phase of Pinnacle North development lauded in Canandaigua

In spite of rain and flooding along Canandaigua Lake, there was a big celebration Monday morning.

Community leaders gathered to tout the grand opening of the Pinnacle North mixed-use development along the lake front.

A ribbon cutting took place to celebrate the first phase of the project. The multi-million dollar project includes residential buildings and commercial space for businesses.

“The whole lakefront area has been underutilized for several years,” said Canandaigua City Mayor Ellen Polimeni. “And there were different projects that came forth, but none of them were able to meet all of the needs of the project. This project is a wonderful addition to the lakefront area, and is really setting a new tone for the lakefront.”

The construction plans has at least two more phases until it is slated to be completed.
