Deputies in Ontario County report that they were called to an accident at the intersection of County Road 46 and County Complex Dr. on Friday around 7:31 am.
Julianna Tyler, 38, of Canandaigua was traveling east on County Road 46 when her vehicle struck the rear of a vehicle being operated by 58-year-old Ernest Meyers, 58, of Webster.
Tyler suffered a neck injury and was transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital.
She was issued a ticket for following too closely.
The Hopewell Fire Department assisted at the scene.
