Farmington man accused of fighting Canandaigua officers after getting parking ticket

A Farmington man is facing charges after Canandaigua police say he, “violently fought,” with officers after receiving a parking ticket.

Michael Ogden, 29, is charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment.

Early Sunday morning, police say Ogden approached an officer on Bristol Street in Canandaigua, “in a threatening and violent manner,” after getting a parking ticket. When two officers attempted to arrest him, Ogden allegedly fought them.

Police say the defendant hit both officers in the face and head a number of times.
