UPrep basketball star Jeenathan Williams plans to leave Section V behind for prep school

Jeenathan Williams doesn’t know who he’ll be playing for next season yet, but the 6-fot-6 guard said Monday he is planning to leave Section V behind and spend his final high school basketball season at a prep school.

“Definitely, I want to go to a prep school. I’m trying to help myself and be academically and physically ready for college knowing I want to play 20-plus minutes or 25-plus as a freshman,” said the two-time All-Greater Rochester pick at Rochester’s University Preparatory Charter School for Young Men.
