Law enforcement officials seized a large quantity of methamphetamine, cash, a loaded firearm and other items indicative of narcotics sales Wednesday morning while serving a search warrant at 224 Wood St. in Ithaca.
The search warrant was served at about 4:30 a.m. Members of the Ithaca Police Department SWAT Team secured the residence and two occupants, one of whom was the defendant, Johnny J. Lucena, 25, of Ithaca.
A search of the residence and of the defendant resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of methamphetamine, police said. Also located and seized were items indicative of narcotics sales such, as packaging materials, scales, and over $9,000, police said.
