FLX FORECAST: Muggy weather returns along with storms over next several days

It’s going to become warm and muggy in the Finger Lakes over the next several days — as summer makes its return.

That said, the warm, muggy air is going to mean thunderstorms — for several days. Thunderstorm chances will increase each day — with the greatest risk for heavier thunderstorms coming on Saturday.

During the late-afternoon and early-evening hours on Saturday, those living in the region can expect to see thunderstorms capable of producing all of the things that we’re used to seeing in summertime thunderstorms.

However, at the very least — extremely heavy rain will be possible in these storms, which will mean the ongoing risk for flash flooding.
