Sun returns for Wednesday; remainder of week looks unsettled

The weather is going to improve on Wednesday, which will make it arguably the best weather day of the week.

That said, the nice, rain-free forecast will be short lived as rain makes its way back into the region on Thursday and Friday.

While FLX Weather Meteorologist Drew Montreuil wouldn’t guarantee a completely rain free Wednesday, he and other forecasters agree that with highs in the mid-70s and a wind shifting into the south this evening — it will be a great day to get outside.

He notes that Thursday will return to unsettled weather. Showers and thunderstorms will pop up in association with a frontal boundary, which will keep the weather pattern active.

A few storms that pop up on Thursday, like those that rumbled through the area over the last few days — could be strong with gusty winds.
