SF board member’s harassment case postponed

Seneca Falls Town Board member Thomas Ruzicka pleaded not guilty Friday to a second-degree harassment charge in Waterloo Town Court.

Represented by attorney Rome Canzano of Auburn, the first-year board member waived reading of the accusatory instrument outlining the charge that he accosted fellow board member David DeLelys in Parker’s Grille and Tap House in downtown Seneca Falls on the night of May 5.

Canzano then asked for an adjournment to review pre-trial discovery material on the case.

Town Justice Christopher Folk adjourned the case to 8:30 a.m. Aug. 25.

Ruzicka remains free on his own recognizance on the charge, a violation. He was in court with his wife and fellow board member Lou Ferrara Jr. and his wife.
