On Wednesday at 5:55 pm police arrested a Seneca Falls man for aggravated driving while intoxicated, and for a number of other reasons after a personal injury motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Gravel Rd. and State Route 318.
Police in Seneca Falls say that Adam P. Krux, 38, of Seneca Falls was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, failure to yield the right of way, failure to stop at a stop sign, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
When police arrived at the scene, they found that the vehicle involved had left. After a short search of the area, the vehicle was located on State Route 5 in Seneca Falls.
Seneca Falls Police, alongside the New York State Police and Seneca County Sheriff’s Office all assisted. Authorities converged on an address on State St. and took Krux into custody, which resulted in the charges.
He was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $750 cash bail or $1,500 secured bond.
No injuries occurred as result of the crash, but two vehicles were towed from the scene.
