An Auburn man pleaded guilty in two cases Thursday, first for selling cocaine and then for possessing a loaded firearm after assaulting a woman in Cayuga County.
Brandon Tape, 28, of 5 Parsons St., was initially charged with seven felonies in Cayuga County Court — three counts each of third-degree criminal sale and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and one count of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
According to Cayuga County District Attorney Jon Budelmann, Tape was first charged with selling cocaine on three occasions last year. Then, on Feb. 24, 2017, Tape was arrested for assault.
