Two people arrested following a robbery at Abby Wines & Spirits in March accepted plea deals Monday in Seneca County Court.
Jeffery Jones, 19, of Rochester, and Sharda Brinson-Granison, 25, of Geneva, pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted robbery, a class D felony punishable by up to seven years in prison.
Judge Dennis Bender is scheduled to sentence Jones Aug. 14 to five years in prison. One week later, Brinson-Granison is scheduled to be sentenced to a year in the Seneca County Jail.
Village police arrested Jones and Brinson-Granison several days after the March 26 robbery at the East Main Street business.
