Pittsford Sutherland senior Danny Gianniny placed third overall at the boys state golf tournament at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course at Cornell University on Monday, firing off this year’s lowest round, 69, after a first-round score of 78 to help Section V capture the team title beating out Section-VIII by nine shots.
Victor senior Christian Chapman carded a second round score of 71 to finish fourth and Jack O’Donovan (Sutherland) finished with a two-day total of 151 to tie for sixth overall.
