Waterloo stumbles in Class B softball final

If you are going up against the Wayland-Cohocton softball team there is one thing that you know is going to happen. Your defense is going to be tested — over and over and over.

The No. 3 Eagles’ offensive strategy is to put the ball in play and see what the opposing defense can do.

That plan paid off Wednesday. The Eagles took advantage of six Waterloo errors on their way to a 7-2 win over the top-seeded Indians in the Section V Class B championship game at Keuka College.
