Deputies in Ontario County arrested a Sodus man following an investigation into the care of a 3-year-old child.
Derek G. Cobin, 27, of Sodus was arrested after deputies say they observed his child walking alone in a public roadway in Sodus.
Cobin was found to be the father of that 3-year-old and was subsequently charged with endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned in Sodus Village Court.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
