RIT men fall in NCAA Division III lacrosse championship

When the ball was on the ground, the RIT men’s lacrosse team did not have the advantage in the Division III National Championship game at Gillette Stadium on Sunday evening.

In their 15-7 loss to Salisbury, the Tigers (20-3) picked up 26 ground balls while their opponent nabbed 44. In the third quarter specifically, the Tigers lost the ground ball matchup, 18-5.
