Deputies in Ontario County arrested a Canandaigua woman after she was found sleeping in a running vehicle, which led to authorities locating an amount of heroin.
Carrie E. Goodrell, 34, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was found sleeping in a running vehicle on State Route 5&20 in Canandaigua.
The parking lot she was found inside was that of a closed business, which prompted the deputies to stop. She was found to be possessing several plastic baggies, which contained a brown powdery substance.
It tested positive for heroin, according to deputies.
She was issued appearance tickets and will answer the charges at a later date.
