New York State Police at Machias have cancelled the Amber Alert issued earlier Tuesday after locating the missing teen and suspects listed in the original release below.
Police say two suspects — identified as Joshua Monette and John Harvey — took McKenzie Wilson near Shady Lane in Lyndon. They say the circumstances were suspicious, which led to believe authorities that the 12-year-old is in imminent danger.
Both boys are said to be armed with handguns.
Wilson is described as a white female, 12-years-old, with straight, blonde hair and blue eyes. She is approximately 5’6″ tall, according to police.
Monette is described as a white male, approximately 18-years-old with short, black hair and brown eyes. He is 6’2″ and weighs around 140 pounds.
Harvey is a 16-year-old white male with brown hair.
A red truck was stolen from the vicinity of the abduction and has a black bow tie on the front grille.
