Only a freshman, the Geneva High School star qualified for the New York state boys tennis championships Saturday — the third consecutive year he has pulled off the feat. He defeated one of his good friends on the U.S. Tennis Association junior circuit, Churchville-Chili’s Ben Davis, in the championship match of Section V’s state qualifier.
