The flowers were in bloom and the sun was bright as the graduating students of the 149th Wells College commencement gathered on the front lawn of Macmillan Hall to receive their much-awaited degrees.
Family and friends filled seats and watched with excitement as words of encouragement and advice for life were given out to the 111 graduating students.
“Your life has already started,” said student speaker Maia Baskerville. “Please don’t forget to live.”
Some will go on to further their education and others will enter their chosen field but all will hold their memories that they have shared together as Wells College students.
