Investigators arrested Lloyd K. Morlang, 60, of Waterloo on charges related to theĀ alleged misconduct, which included multiple incidents of rape.
Morlang is accused of subjecting the victim to sexual intercourse and oral sexual conduct, as well as disseminating photos and text messages of sexual nature to the victim between July 2016 and April 2017.
He was charged with two counts of second-degree rape – Class D felonies, two counts of second-degree criminal sexual act – Class D felonies, first-degree disseminating indecent material to minors – a Class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Deputies say that Morlang was arraigned in Waterloo Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on no bail. He will appear in Waterloo Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Sheriff’s Investigators worked closely with Seneca County Child Protective Services, New York State Division of Parole, and the Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes, according to Sheriff Tim Luce.
