The Auburn Police Department is getting its first facelift in more than 20 years.
Since its original construction in the 1930s, the historic building at the corner of North Street, Market Street and the Arterial has only had one major upgrade — when a three-bay garage was transformed into the police department’s command center in the early 1990s. Now that command center is being redesigned and remodeled.
