Police: Seneca Falls woman called dispatch 24 times about incident

A Seneca Falls woman faces multiple charges after police say she called dispatch 24 times attempting to report an incident, which police say had been handled.

On Monday at 12:02 am the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Susan L. Ganser, 54, of Seneca Falls for third-degree falsely reporting an incident, two counts of second-degree obstructing governmental administration, and second-degree harassment following an investigation into a complaint where Ganser would not stop calling 911 about an incident that she felt had not been handled properly.

Ganser called the Seneca County Emergency Dispatch Center twenty-four times to report the same incident after she had been advised the issue had been handled.

She is also accused of physically fighting with officers and refused to provide state mandated information once back at the Police Department.

Ganser was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $500 bail or $1000 secured bond.

Ganser will reappear in the Seneca Falls Town Court on June 1st, 2017 at 5:30 pm.
