With its new Clean Energy Community designation by the state Energy Research and Development Authority, Cayuga County legislators are considering some projects for a a state grant application that could award the county up to $250,000.
Legislator Ben Vitale brainstormed some options at the Legislature’s Ways and Means Committee meeting Tuesday night, utilizing an energy audit on all of the county’s buildings completed by Wendel Energy Services.
