An Auburn brewery is among the five finalists in Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s inaugural Taste NY Craft Beer Challenge.
Prison City Pub & Brewery was one of the top vote-getters in the online vote, which began in early May and ended Friday. More than 170 breweries from across the state participated in the contest and more than 42,000 votes were cast.
The other finalists are Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, Genesee Brewing Co. in Rochester, Roscoe NY Beer Co. in Sullivan County and the Southern Tier Brewing Co. in Chautauqua County.
