Sex offender pleads guilty to having sex with 13-year-old in Cayuga County

A local sex offender has admitted to having oral sex with a 13-year-old girl in Cayuga County.

Keith A. Hilliard, 38, of Skaneateles, pleaded guilty Thursday to three felonies.

According to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested Hilliard in November 2016 following an investigation into the sexual abuse of a child in the town of Summerhill. In addition, deputies said Hilliard had been using a social media account that he did not report to the Department of Criminal Justice Services, something he was required to do as a level 2 sex offender.
