Honeoye man with three DWI convictions arrested for drunk driving again

A 38-year-old Honeoye man is facing a felony DWI charge, as well as a number of others after police found he had three previous DWI convictions after the traffic stop.

James C. Francis, 38, of Honeoye is accused of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving with a revoked license related to previous DWI convictions, driving a vehicle that was unregistered, uninspected, and having a registration sticker for another vehicle attached to the unregistered car.

When officers arrested Francis he refused to be photographed or fingerprinted.

The most-recent DWI charge became the fourth he’d seen in the last 15 years.

Francis was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, second-degree obstruction of governmental operation, unlicensed operator, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, improper registration sticker, uninspected motor vehicle and unregistered motor vehicle.

The charges will be answered in Canandaigua Court.
