Those who may have expired, unused or unwanted prescription drugs will have an opportunity to safely dispose of them through a program with the Auburn Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration called Take Back Day.
The free service will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 29 at Kinney Drugs, 62 Owasco St., Auburn. People can bring their pills or patches for disposal, but the program does not accept liquids, needles or sharps. The drop-offs are anonymous and no questions will be asked.
