The Town Board has scheduled two public meetings to discuss extending municipal water service to new areas of the town.
The meetings will be 7 p.m. May 3 and 10 a.m. May 6 at the Fayette Fire Department on Route 414.
Board member Jeff Trout said new areas being consider for water are the Route 96A and Route 96 corridors. He said new wineries and breweries in the town also have expressed interest in getting municipal water service.
