Route 318 sewer project geared toward attracting new development

Just a short distance south of the Thruway, Route 318 in Tyre and Junius would seem to be ideal for new residential and commercial development.

That’s what the Seneca County Board of Supervisors has been thinking for the past two years.

To make that corridor attractive to developers, supervisors have formed the Route 318 Corridor Sewer Improvement Project.

Barton & Loguidice Engineers of Syracuse have designed the project, which would include the Thruway rest station in Junius.

The sewers would go from Route 414 in Tyre to Waterloo Premium Outlets in Junius.
