The Cayuga County Women's Republican Club has announced a series of events to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women earning the right to vote in New York.
The club will hold Voices for the Vote Thursday, April 6 at Auburn Public Theater, 8 Exchange St. The event will feature a stage presentation of a living suffrage timeline and the Howland Stone Store Museum will have a display of their vintage women's suffrage poster, according to a news release.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency for programs that support local women.
