The supervisors of neighboring Seneca County towns argued about the county Industrial Development Agency during Tuesday’s committee meetings.
Cindy Lorenzetti, D-Fayette, had asked her fellow Board of Supervisors members to suggest ways to improve relations and cooperation between the board and IDA. She submitted eight recommendations.
Lorenzetti, who is not part of the county’s Planning, Development, Agriculture and Tourism Committee, was surprised to find that her submissions weren’t part of that panel’s agenda.
“I’ve been board liaison to the IDA for the past two years. I know the issues,” Lorenzetti said. “I feel my recommendations are realistic, and I’d like to know what the committee will do about them? If you don’t deal with them, I may have to go another direction.”
