Rochester’s Jeffrey Anderson chosen as NCAA Final Four referee

Twenty years after he blew his first whistle in stripes, Jeffrey Anderson has reached the pinnacle of his profession. It’s a long way from working in all of those gymnasiums around Rochester, all those nights when he honed his craft, sharpening his eye and developing the courage it takes to be a big-time college basketball referee, but Anderson has made it.

The 1985 Franklin High School graduate is among the 10 referees who have been selected to officiate Saturday’s Final Four in Phoenix.
