Former Geneva convenience store manager convicted of stealing $7K

The former manager of a Geneva gas station/ convenience store has been convicted of stealing thousands of dollars from the business.

Ontario County District Attorney R. Michael Tantillo said Alison Emery, 37, was found guilty of third-degree grand larceny during a trial in county court this week. The charge is a class D felony punishable by up to seven years in prison.

Judge William Kocher is set to sentence the Sodus resident April 5.

Tantillo said Emery embezzled approximately $7,400 from the Pit Stop on Exchange Street, starting in February 2015 and ending six months later, when she was fired. She was later arrested by Geneva police and indicted by a grand jury.
