Annual honors handed out at Seneca Falls Elks Lodge (photos)

As the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #992 wraps up their calendar year — annual awards were presented to a member and officer who showed particular dedication during 2016.

It’s an annual tradition that provides the lodge an opportunity to thank those members who go above and beyond the call of duty.

On Tuesday, Trustee Warren Fredrickson (PER) and Jim Richar were presented with two honors.

Fredrickson was named “Officer of the Year,” which marks another year of dedication to the lodge and community. As a Past Exalted Ruler, Fredrickson has gone above and beyond for several years now, dedicating himself to ensuring that the events held and hosted by the lodge are a success.

Richar was named “Elk of the Year” due to his continued dedication to serving the lodge faithfully in a variety of ways. His community service to the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge is a benefit to not only the lodge to which he belongs, but also the community it serves.
