Hobart College sophomore Bryan Hancock’s career-high six points on four goals and two assists led the Statesmen lacrosse team to an 18-11 win over Canisius this afternoon at the Pinnacle Athletic Campus.
Hobart improves to 3-4 this season, while the Golden Griffins fall to 2-3. Senior Max Romm added four goals for Hobart. Senior Frank Brown produced four points on two goals and two assists. Sophomore Chris Aslanian logged three points on a goal and two assists and first-year Justin Scott added two goals and an assist. Sophomore Stanny Gilbertson and senior Mark Darden each registered two goals. Junior J Andrew Spallanzani scooped up a game-high six ground balls and won 12 faceoffs for the Statesmen. First-year Sam Mueller notched a game-high three caused turnovers.
