A Canandaigua man was arrested on a weapons charge after deputies found him to be in possession of an assault rifle.
Deputies arrested Michael A. Wood, 58, of Canandaigua — charging him with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He allegedly possessed a Strike Tactical SL15 assault rifle, and also had five magazines with 30 rounds each.
The arrest took place on Wednesday, March 15th on North Rd. in Canandaigua.
He will answer the charges at a later date in Canandaigua Town Court.
