Canandaigua man charged with felony DWI; refuses to be printed or photographed

A 37-year-old Canandaigua man is facing felony charges associated with driving while intoxicated after an arrest on March 9th.

Officers say Matthew S. Malone, 37, of Canandaigua was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, obstructing government administration, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and speed in zone after he was stopped by police for traveling 50 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Malone is accused of driving while intoxicated with a previous DWI conviction after they initiated a traffic stop. When he was arrested, officers found alcohol in his vehicle.

The obstruction charge came from his refusal to allow officers to take his fingerprints and photograph following the arrest.
