Deputy injured, three charged after Sodus incident

An investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of three individuals on Friday at 3 am on Mill St. in Sodus.

They were called to the scene in Sodus for a ‘suspicious condition’ and after they arrived — deputies began interviewing an individual identified as 23-year-old Daniel Dasius, who matched the description of the complaint.

While deputies were dealing with Desius, another individual — identified as Alexander Rosa Musolina-Robledo, 22, of Sodus interfered with deputies preventing them from dealing with Desius.

When Robledo was asked for identification he gave them the name of Tom Hick. During the distraction, Desius disappeared into a nearby apartment.

They were int he process of arresting Robledo when Desius exited the apartment and punched a deputy in the head — causing a head injury.

Sheriff’s Sergeant Joe Ayotte was taken to Newark-Wayne Hospital where he was treated and released.

Deputies say Desius was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.

He was arraigned in Sodus Town Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 secured bond.

Robledo was charged with false impersonation, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. He was also charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

These charges stem from a narcotics investigation that had been completed in July of 2016 into the sales and distribution of cocaine by Robledo.

He was arraigned in Sodus Town Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 secured bond.

A third individual — identified as Hayley Chappell, 24, of Sodus was charged with driving while intoxicated and blood-alcohol content in excess of .08 percent.

She was arraigned and released on appearance tickets for Sodus Town Court.
