Longtime Auburn women’s event has new organizer, venue

The room has reopened.

Room Full of Sisters, a Women's History Month event that started in 1993 as a local forum for female expression, returns after a three-year hiatus Monday, March 13.

It does so with a new organizer in Auburn Public Theater, and a new venue in the Hilton Garden Inn. Angela Daddabbo, the theater's artistic director, said she attended the event on and off prior to moving back in Auburn in 2001, and "always left inspired." In more recent years, she continued, the theater had a presence at the event, holding dialogue groups with attendees.
