An Auburn man was arrested by the Auburn Police Department Thursday after allegedly attacking a woman and not allowing her to leave his apartment, authorities said.
James E. Brooks, 62, of Auburn, was charged with two counts of third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing and second-degree unlawful imprisonment, all of which are misdemeanors, and a parole violation.
