On Thursday, March 2nd, Seneca Community Players will hold auditions for All My Sons, the first show of their 45th season of providing live theatre in the Finger Lakes.
All My Sons by Arthur Miller was the playwright’s most commercially successful play, running for 328 performances on Broadway, while receiving critical acclaim and several industry awards.
Craig Simmons, who has previously been seen as Boolie in SCP’s Driving Miss Daisy, will direct the play.
Based on the true story of an Ohio-based aeronautics company that knowingly sold defective engine parts to the United States military, the story finds the Keller family, and the Deever family dealing with the fallout of denial, betrayal, guilt, and love in small town America during war time leading to tragic consequences both home, and abroad.
All My Sons has parts for 5 men ages 30’s – 60’s and one boy aged 10, and 4 women ages mid 20’s to mid 50’s. Actors should be prepared to read from the script, and perform a short monologue if desired.
Auditions will be held in Seneca Falls on Thursday, March 2nd at 7PM, at 115 Fall Street, lower level. If necessary, callbacks will be on March 4th.
All My Sons will be performed on May 5, 6, 7, 12, & 13 at the Douglas Avery Performing Arts Center at Mynderse Academy in Seneca Falls.
