Man charged with promoting prison contraband at Seneca Co. Correctional Facility

A Waterloo man was charged with promoting prison contraband at the Seneca County Jail after he was found to be in possession of dangerous contraband items at the facility.

James R. Boorman, 28, formerly of Waterloo was charged with two counts of first-degree promoting prison contraband.

It is alleged Boorman was in possession of dangerous contraband while incarcerated. He was charged on February 14th.

Boorman was arraigned before the Town of Lodi court and is to return to the Town of Romulus Court on February 24th at 10 am.

He was released and returned to the facility where he’s being held on unrelated charges.
