The weather wreaked havoc on area high school basketball late-season schedules again on Monday prompting postponements of several games. The wintry weather on Monday night didn’t cool down South Seneca’s Devin Rogers who fired in a school-record 8 three-pointers in a loss HAC. In the Wolves’ 5-point win, Jamarr Paisley canned an impressive 15 of his 16 free-throw attempts. In other boys action, Honeoye fell to Way-Co and the Williamson Marauders were winners improving their league record to 6-8.
On the girls’ slate, the Gananda Blue Panthers clinched a Wayne County title in convincing fashion with a 40-point win at home against Sodus.
