A couple from Springport was charged after the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office allegedly found heroin in a residence last month, according to a news release.
On Jan. 15, the sheriff’s office executed a search warrant for a residence at 1281 Route 326, Springport, after an investigation gave police reason to believe the residents had heroin, Detective Sgt. Fred Cornelius said. The couple was conducting drug activity in the same residence where two children were, Cornelius said.
