The Geneva Police Department continues looking for help locating a missing/runaway juvenile who left her home at 11 Avenue B in Geneva on January 8th at 7:30 pm and has not been seen since. The juvenile is 14-year-old Yanelly Lopez and is a frequent runaway who normally goes to friends/family homes in Rochester. According to Road Patrol, Lopez is not in danger and has been in contact with her sister, via social media.
Geneva Police issued an update in the case on Tuesday and have learned that Lopez actually went missing while in Rochester on 01/08/2017. She is still not believed to be in danger. Lopez does not have a phone, but uses Facebook frequently. Her mother remains uncooperative with the investigation.
